Chanel April nail polish

I tried one of the new Chanel nail polishes from their Spring 'Harmonie de Printemps' collection - April - which is a hard to describe red/ little bit of purple/berry shade. To me the color resembles cranberry red the most but in some lightenings it also has some brown undertones.  It is therefore a very versatile polish, because it is not that bright but carries a lot of color nuances. It doesn't look like any of the existing Chanel reds as well.

Today I am wearing ... leopard jeans

I am jumping on the bandwagon - these Current Elliott leopard jeans have been spotted on so many celebs currently and were sold out in most online stores when they came out. I was very skeptical at the beginning if I could pull them off and because I normally don't wear animal prints. But these jeans' leopard print is not so 'in the face' and the grey color can easily be paired with blacks/whites but also look awesome with reds or other prints. The print is also very faded, which I also like. Fit is perfectly comfortable with a lot of stretch. I just wished I was a bit taller, so they would be 7/8 pants like they were meant to be :-). Anyways, I like them a lot and they will get a lot of wear.

Too marvelous for words ...

People must have thought that I am crazy, but when I first got this beautiful ring by Aamaya by Priyanka, I couldn't stop staring at my hand. I am so blown away by how gorgeous this ring looks like. It's a real statement piece and the trademark of Priyanka. Three stones (each of them different in size, shape and color) set either in a gold or rose gold plated ring. I chose a very neutral one, with a pastel rose and white gems, but there is a great variety with beautiful blue and turquoise stones. Love all of them!

I don't even think that the pictures do them justice, they look much prettier in real life.

3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-Fall 2012

Phillip Lim's interprets the superhero theme in a cool and wearable way. I like the color combos and comic motives that are not all over the place but add a nice touch and humor here and there. Also the accessories look so much fun and brighten up dark fall outfits in an instant.

Today I am wearing ... tomboy outfit

Going for a very relaxed look on this very rainy and cloudy weekend, I chose the Roller jeans with its roomy and slouchy fit and paired it with a warm cropped sweater - I love cable knit sweaters in Winter. And of course I couldn't let go of my beloved Dolfie shoes that I wear over and over again.

Drooling over multicolored bags

I really like past seasons' color blocking trends, but it took a while until I could find some bags that reflect that style in a cool and beautiful way. It's not that easy to have multiple colors in one accessory that can nevertheless match many outfits, if you want to wear more than only monochrome clothes. And the color combinations also have to stay interesting for a longer while without getting boring after some time if you want to invest in a more expensive bag.

I am currently drooling over these ones ... tough choice.

Favorite celebrity style 2011 - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

I simply love Rosie's casual and red carpet style. She always looks so posh! And she also has a lovely taste for accessories like scarves, hats and bags!!! I am really envious of her bag collection, she carries them so well, from her Alexander Wang bags to her Birkin bag and her latest Céline Micro.

Today I am wearing ... stripes, stripes & stripes

Happy New Year everyone!!!
This is my first outfit in 2012 - yeah - for new year's brunch. When I put the cardigan on, my daughter also wanted to wear her striped shirt. She is already very choosey what she wants to wear.
I didn't want to pair the basic striped tee with a monochrome cardi, but wanted to play a bit with the pattern. That's why I chose another striped piece to set a bit of contrast. This Rag and Bone cardigan is very playful with its shorter sleeves and very comfy as well.
