I don't wear skirts that often in winter, but the weather was really mild the last days and I couldn't resist putting on my stretchy striped wool skirt. I like it a lot since it fits any casual outfit and is therefore suitable for everyday wear.

Just tried 'OPI My Address is Hollywood' from the Fall 2012 Touring America collection. Like it a lot! A warm vivid rose with a subtle golden shimmer that can be noticed in the sunlight.

Rag and Bone DIY

Rag and Bone's DIY concept is quite interesting: give a beautiful girl (model) some basic Rag and Bone clothes and let her do her own shootings, without a professional stylist, make up/hair and lighting - just a camera and Rag and Bone. The outcome is really something worth looking at, they have been running this DIY project for quite a while now with some gorgeous models and you can really see what natural beauties they are and how creative these girls are (or in case of Miranda Kerr: Orlando Bloom who has done some pics of his wife :-) ). Wish I could look that good with some simple skinny jeans and a tee.

Warm-Me trunkshow @Inked

Today I visited my favorite shop 'Inked' where they are running a trunk show dedicated to 'Warm-Me' for two weeks with photo shooting, sweet gifts and a competition game. I took part with my two little ones, however my daughter didn't want to wear a beanie other than her own. Warm-Me is an Austrian brand and has so many cool caps and beanies that I really couldn't decide which one I like best as I could take home each and every one of them. ♥ the colors and softness!!!

It is getting so cold now, that I love layering basic tees or shirts with chunky cozy cardigans or vests. This one is one of my faves because it is so soft, has a nice warm brown color, open front but a nice back.

Today I am wearing ... preppy style

Preppy and boyfriend style is big this season ... and I love it. It is also easy to achieve, simply put on a pair of jeans or pants and pair it with a slightly loose sweater and/or shirt. My absolute favorite is a tailored blazer to finish off this look. This one is from Boy.Band of Outsiders and its cut is really inspired by men's tailored suits.

Today I am wearing ... a Bassike(ly) cool outfit

shirt and slouchy pants: Bassike

For chilling at home I decided to go for this Bassike ensemble. I find the slouchy pants really comfy and they offer a great alternative to leggings. Some people find they look like diapers, but I think they can either be paired with a shirt to create a laid back, cool look or with a simple blazer for a stylish, more dressed up look.

As for the brand, Bassike is an Australian brand that use organic cotton. I love how they create basic pieces but add luxury and aesthetic twists to them - especially love the assymmetric and uneven cuts and hems.

Fall/Winter nail polishes

In the past few days I have changed my nail colours a couple of times. I have bought some of the fall/winter polishes and couldn't wait to get them on my fingers. I really like the dark colours for the cold season, but sometimes need to have some bright ones in between to lighten up my mood.
