Today I am wearing ... navy turtleneck and red skinnies

I really fell in love with this dark blue turtleneck sweater by Rag and Bone because it is so soft and cozy. What makes it special is that it is a bit longer at the back (shirttail hem) and makes it easy to wear with any skinnies or thick leggings - hiding my "big" derriere. I wanted to add some color and therefore chose some red corduroy skinnies to complete the look. It is basic casual wear, simple but comfy.

Favorite celebrity style 2011 - Miranda Kerr

Ever since having her cute little baby, supermodel Miranda Kerr has been showing off her impeccable fashion taste on and off the runways. I particularly like her casual style, when she is wearing some basic outfits like skinny jeans, leather jackets or blazers, but manages to look so effortlessly chic and sophisticated. New In from Inked Xmas party and sale: Dolfie shoes

From Inked's Xmas sale and party I took away some real gorgeous pieces at a very good price. The highlight is definitely this pair of Dolfie shoes. I almost only have basic shoes in my closet in black, brown and grey - so I think it is time to add some fun shoes to my wardrobe, especially if they are so comfortable and beautifully made like these ones, a mix of mocassins and sneakers - with shearling lining and an adorable leopard pattern. I think they look so cute! They really add fun to any basic outfit.

XMas party outfit

A few days ago we had our company's Christmas party at the Hilton. It was a very nice and elegant event with a 4 course dinner, some entertainment and a very crowded bar and dance scene afterwards. I enjoyed it so much, meeting up and chatting with colleagues and friends. It is also one of the rare occasions that I stayed away at night leaving my kids at home after my son was born. It was real fun, here are some impressions and the outfit that I wore that evening.

If she hasn't got a warm leather jacket, a shearling jacket is always a nice option, especially if it comes with a modern twist. I think the most beautiful ones are from Giorgio Brato this season as I always fall in love with his leather jackets, whether they are washed leather, short or trench versions with asymmetric cuts or suede leather with shearling. Rag and Bone Pre-Fall 2012

Fall/Winter sale has just begun or is about to start and soon summery/springy pieces will be coming to the stores. But since we are all still into our cozy winter pieces, at least that's how I feel because it hasn't been really cold or snowy in Vienna yet, here is a short preview of some of my favorite looks of what will be hitting the stores next fall from Rag and Bone.

• although some might say that the collection hasn't anything innovative or new to show, I think Rag and Bone stays true to its style and everything is so wearable and easy to combine with jeans, shorts or skirts that we have in our closet already

My name is Pashli - Pashli bag by Philip Lim

Let me introduce my favorite bag of this season: Philip Lim's Pashli satchel bag.

 
I have never considered Philip Lim bags as a must have on my bag wish list until this autumn when this gorgeous model came out. I fell in love with it the minute I saw the picture on the internet before it hit the stores. And it was even more beautiful in real life. It has the perfect design with all its pretty details: the gold chain zippers, the structured leather and the fact that the bag changes it shape when you open the side zips (giving it a more relaxed look when unzipped). I find this bag ultra chic and feminine - although it has also been worn by guys in some blogs, which I find cool as well. It came out in so pretty colors this fall and is really roomy - I love it even more for its size (I love big bags) because I can carry everything with me, even my towel when going to my power plate session or the bottles for my kids along with some little toys. It is also ideal for carrying it to work since a laptop and papers will easily fit in this bag.

My bag is the taupe one, a very pretty neutral color that goes with everything and is not too light to be that sensitive to dirt or color transfers.
